Testing Pressure Calculator allows you to calculate the testing pressure for systems made with polyethylene piping. It also calculates the relationship between pressure and the amount of water to be tapped for testing the presence of air in the pipeline. It suggests the maximum amount of water to be tapped into the system to allow air to be evacuated before testing. Simply select the pipe diameter, SDR value, modulus of elasticity, length of pipe under test, and operating pressure.
